Open Call For Film Submissions 2014 - Submissions Now Closed

goNORTH 2014 is now open for short film submissions. There is no thematic or genre criteria, it is wide open to any kind of short film and open to anyone to enter.

Most importantly, we want engaging narrative and a structured piece of work with good storytelling and strong production values.  Installations and conceptual films are not suitable, films from the more standard genres of broadcast such as drama, documentary, comedy and entertainment are invited to submit.

Guidelines For Submitting Your Film

Here’s what we were looking for:

  • Completed films up to 20 minutes in duration that focus on strong storytelling, high production values and engaging content.
  • Screening copies accepted only via a link to uploaded film on Vimeo.
  • Your film does not have to be in full HD quality, just the best quality possible.
  • Remember to provide a direct link to your film and the correct password. Please make sure the video is accessible to goNORTH until 15th May 2014. If you change the password of the link please inform us as soon as possible.
  • Please note, films with excessive bad language or gratuitous or sexual imagery will not be considered.
  • Due to the volume of entries received, goNORTH cannot offer individual critiques of declined films.
