How To Get Here

By train

Inverness is well serviced by the railway network. Trains run daily to and from Scotland Central belt and London Kings Cross and there is a night sleeper service between London and Inverness too.  There are also limited services northbound on the Kyle of Lochalsh and Wick lines.  Timetables for summer 2013 are not released yet but for general information on how to plan your journey and all current timetables visit the National Rail Enquiries website.

By air

Inverness Airport, is approximately 10 minutes by road from Inverness and 1.5 hours flying time from London. For details of all scheduled flights which operate between Inverness and London Gatwick, London Luton, Belfast City, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Jersey, Manchester, Southampton, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Stornoway in the Western Isles, Kirkwall in Orkney and Sumburgh in Shetland please go to the Highlands & Islands Airport’s website.

By Bus or Coach

A number of companies run direct services to Inverness from all major Scottish cities. Citylink, Stagecoach and Megabus.
